Who is Equine Corral?
Equine Corral is located at the Crossroads shopping center in Lithia, Florida. Lithia is located near Tampa in Hillsborough County and centrally located in Florida’s second largest county for horse population. Within a 50 mile radius of our store the USDA estimated in their 2002 agricultural study, that over 11,000 horses call our area their “home”!
Equine Corral’s parent company, Rolling Gait Equine LLC was incorporated in 2003 to support the owner’s love for horses and their new farm just 4 miles from their store location. In 2006 when Howell left his corporate position, they created a full time Farrier store to meet the area’s needs. Two years later, when the opportunity came to lease additional store space at their current location, his wife Terry expanded their support to the local equine community by creating a “boutique” English Riding apparel and supplies store. Since opening in September 2008, Equine Corral continues to be encouraged by the support and willingness of the local horse owners, trainers, and stables to work with them to ensure they provide the right products to their customers.
